Ceramic Resident Artist
Artists in need of quiet, semi-private space may be best suited as a Ceramic Resident Artist for one year. Enjoy a rent based studio divided amongst two or three other ceramic artists. Semi-private spaces are furnished by the artists. These Artists are required to volunteer at Mother Brook Arts 3 hrs per month and contribute to the maintenance of the studio and facilities.

- Participate in annual Open Studios events
- Access to kilns and glaze lab for firing and mixing glazes
- Use any clay body (we fire up to Cone 6)
Program Details
- Extensive studio experience is required
- Key deposit of $100 allows for door fob and 3 room keys
- 24hr access to facilities
- Confirmation of knowledge of glaze formulation and kiln safety before use
- Proper clean up in common areas
- Proper use of all equipment
- Supply of personal tools with minimal reliance on small studio tools
- Students and CSAs have priority over classroom equipment - Residents should plan to purchase their own wheels
- Annual fees applied for use of glaze materials and kiln firings
- Coordinate with Ceramics Program Director for volunteer tasks
- Leases end December 31st
