Ceramics Studio Artist Program

Ceramic Studio Artists (CSA) rent a shelf and have experience with clay, are comfortable working unsupervised and desire more open studio time for their creative process. THIS PROGRAM IS CURRENTLY FULL - please email ceramics@motherbrookarts.org to join the waitlist.

Program Details

  • Clay studio experience is required
  • Clay is purchased from the studio - we do not allow outside clay
  • CSAs have access to all studio glazes
  • CSAs are responsible for proper use and clean up of the studio
  • CSA's artwork is fired by the program
  • Education programs are expected to run uninterrupted by Artist activity
  • Sessions run for 12 month, 6 month, and 3 month increments
  • CSA rates are based on $45 per week, or $1,170 for 6 months
  • There is a 10% discount on FULL year terms at $2,106 (saving $234)

Prerequisite

Ceramic Studio Artists are required to have experience in clay studios due to the absence of supervision and abundance of open studio time.  We requireCeramics Orientation to all new potential Ceramic Studio Artists, both privately or in groups.  This costs $25 and covers proper use and cleanup of the studio. 

Please note, CSA weeks are non-transferrable. There are no refunds for missed time, please only sign up for weeks you plan to use. CSAs must be reistered at all times to maintain a shelf and studio access.
