Artist Statement
I have always been attracted to stones and have collected them everywhere that
I have traveled. I have a background in woodworking and sculpture so I approach
jewelry making as tiny sculptures. I let the stone be the highlight and the silver work
be the background to let the stones shine. Recently I have been branching out into
work with brass and copper, some with stones and some without. I find the work
satisfying and challenging.
